| Various works have been and are being done. The basin has been dredged and and "bungs" across the Canal below the inclined plan have been removed and the channel reinstated. The inclined plane lower slope has been cleared to give a better understanding of how it was when it was in use. Other works in this area are to be completed. On the Bude side of the A39 road bridge a landing stage is being constructed for use by canoeists and small boats. At Whalesborough Weir a flow measuring is to be installed to aid the splitting of water 50/50 between the Canal and the River Neet. |
