| The Lock needs to be refurbished to allow use of the lock and thereby navigation along the Canal. The Lock has been restored and regated. During the dredging it was used by the tugboats and the barges to move the dredgings from below Rodds Bridge to the disposal site below Whalesborough Lock. The movements through the lock averaged 18 trips per day. The first time the lock has been used since the 1920's. |
